“WELCOME ‘HOME’!”

“Welcome ‘Home’, My child!”
says our Precious Lord to us,
As we gather ‘round the Table *
He has set ~ with such a fuss!
Just like Momma used to do
when we’d come home for dinner,
‘Thanksgiving’ time ~ so busy
each dish ~ what a winner!
Oh, ‘death’ to us has such a sting
but God’s Arms are open wide,
Inviting EVERY ONE of us
just to COME inside!
I know all of us
didn’t have such a childhood,
But, believe me when I tell you
up in HEAVEN ~ we really could!
‘Joy’ up in Heaven
FOREVER with our Savior,
The One Who ‘died’ for ALL
even those with BAD behavior! *
Consider this, my friend
before you count me out,
Because, if it weren’t for my JESUS
I’d never be able to shout:
“Jesus took my place
upon that Cross of shame,
And because of His shed BLOOD
I can proudly wear His Name.
My ‘sins’ were very many
& my ‘rebellion’ sure,
Yet I ‘Believed’ God’s Word
that He could make me pure!
‘White as snow’ *
so the Bible says,
‘Remembered no more’ *
because I am HIS!”
You can be, too
if you decide,
It’s ‘JESUS ALL THE WAY’
& you WANT to abide! *
Then, when I die
don’t ‘weep’ for me,
For I’ll be up in Heaven
& full of glee!
In the Arms of Jesus
& ‘waiting’ for YOU,
Listening for Him to say:
“You’re Welcome ‘Home’, too!”
