"INTERCESSORY PRAYER!"

{Poem Book 1}
Oh, to be a "burden"
in the Valley of Despair,
For I know I'll meet my Savior
as I kneel own in PRAYER ~
Interceding for 'others'
to lighten their heavy load,
As I travel on my journey
down that long & dusty road.
He really doesn't give us
any more than we can bear,
For He appoints 'another'
who can kneel down in prayer;
Interceding for us
that "burden" placed on them.
For God knows who can "bear it"
for that friend who seems alone,
Interceding for another
is a 'blessing' all our own.
Oh, what JOY it is to know
For 'others' we can go ~
To our Savior up above
Who stands, waiting to hear our love.
Our love for others must be great
Poured out to Jesus up above,
Yet not as great as our LOVE for Him
Who died to save us & freed us from sin.
Remember, as we intercede for others
there's One interceding for us as well,
He's standing, pleading with The Father
so we won't have to go to hell.
He took our place so we could face
life ~ full to the brim,
Oh, give Him your ALL so you can fall
so much in LOVE with Him.
Then, when He calls on you to pray
for 'another' to intercede,
You'll be ready, ever steady
for that 'friend' to JESUS plead!
