"The ROLE of the SERVANT"

The Role of the servant {Jesus came to SERVE~see John 13:5}
is to wash the feet {caked on mud} of 'others'.
BUT ~ how can we wash 'their' feet when we don't ALLOW
Jesus to wash ours?
When we won't let Him into those 'dirty' ~ 'grimy' places
of OUR lives & clean us up first?
Oh, how He LONGS to serve us ~ yet we are like Peter
{at first before he realized the 'truth' of what Jesus was doing ~
when he told Him ~ "You'll not wash my feet!"}
Are YOU telling God you're OK & don't need a 'deeper' cleansing?
Are you full of 'pride' & 'self' today?
Realize, as Peter did, the great importance of having JESUS
wash your 'feet' {the 'hidden' filthiness of your soul} before
He can send you out to wash the feet of 'others'!
There is a 'humbling' process in ALLOWING Jesus to wash our
feet ~ for it takes US admitting we are not perfect & NEED to
be washed! Then ~ we aren't so proud & haughty when we
approach others who are in need of their feet being washed ~
are we?
~PRAYER~
Oh, dear Lord, HELP US to be HUMBLE 'servants' of our Precious
Savior. Never thinking we are 'better' than others {Phil2:3}:
Because if YOU weren't in charge of us, & if it weren't for Your
shed Blood, we'd be utterly lost, undone & found lacking~
AMEN!

Oh, can we not ADMIT our sin
so that we can be cleansed?
As Jesus cannot WASH us
until ~on our knees~ we 'completely' bend.
~ 'Admitting' we are filthy
& have walked on roads unclean ~
My friend, is the 1st step
of being make 'wholly' clean!
Let 'The Servant' of your soul
come in ~right now~ I pray,
He'll wash you with His Precious Blood
& you'll be ~CLEAN~ today!
