“THE GREATEST ‘SERVANT’!”

The Greatest ‘Servant’ of all
is JESUS CHRIST our King, *
He gave His very Life for me
& that is why I can ‘sing’.
Joy fills my heart when I ‘yield’
ALL my life to Him,
Letting Him lead me in all I do
facing life with a grin. *
He understands ~
& knows what’s best for me,
That’s why I must depend on HIM
& share ‘His Love’ with thee. *
For one day He showed me
how ‘ignorant’ I really am,
As my “know-it-all” life-style *
gave the Church a ‘slam’!
All I was ‘really’ doing
was ‘hitting’ them with words,
Caring not ‘who’ got hit
which was ‘really absurd’!
For ‘Love’ didn’t rule my thoughts
nor even yet my ‘speech’,
As I just thought I was serving Him
when in reality I’d been ‘beached’!
To sit upon the shore
until I learned ‘submission’,
Then, when I was ‘empty of self’
He sent me on a mission.
A mission of ‘Love’ & ‘Mercy’
of ‘Tenderness’ ~ not hate,
So that I could be His servant
& help others to Life’s Gate!
I cannot help them ‘through’ it
for only Jesus can do that, *
All I can do is ‘love’ them
& help them on the ‘right track’.
Help them to know JESUS
The One Who Loves them more than I,
He ‘proved’ it by DYING for them *
then ‘rising’ to the sky.
To stand at His Father’s Side *
‘interceding’ for us in Prayer, *
Praying that we’ll accept Him
so we can be with Him ~ up there!
Removing the veil of misunderstanding *
from our ‘hearts & minds’;
Because we now believe in Jesus
we are ‘no longer’ blind! *
