"RUN TO THE SHEPHERD!"

Shall we go 'without' Him
along the 'trail of life'?
Well, if we do, my friend
all we'll have is strife!
Strife within our soul
no 'peace' at all we'll find,
Until we 'run to The Shepherd'
& find that 'peace of mind'! *
Peace to KNOW that CHRIST is Leading
& Directing us down that road,
But, only as we give them to Him *
can He 'carry' our heavy load!
He gives us all a 'cross to bear' *
but it's NEVER as heavy as His, *
When He bore our sins upon that Cross
so that 'Heaven' we won't miss!
The Shepherd will 'bind' our wounds *
& put 'ointment' on each sore,
But, we must 'run to The Shepherd'
to 'live' forever-more!
He may Lead us to a 'quiet stream'
or down a 'valley' dark & lone, *
But, do not fear, my friend, because
you are NOT alone!
For He said that He'd go with you *
if you want Him to,
So 'call' & 'run to The Shepherd'
& He'll see you through!
