‘Quiet’ time with JESUS
just you & Him ‘alone’,
Leaning on His ‘strong’ right Arm
as He stands beside His Throne.
‘Depending’ on your Heavenly Father
just as Jesus did when He was here, *
‘Realizing’ all our weakness *
needing Him to be ever near!
We cannot do our ‘work’ *
nor ‘fellowship’ with brothers,
Unless His Power flows through us *
out to all those ‘others’.
We must ‘understand’ & ‘PRACTICE’
this ‘privilege’ of EVERY Believer,
Of being ALONE with GOD *
this GREAT & Mighty ‘Receiver’!
The ‘Receiver’ of our doubts & fears *
& all our ‘joys & sorrows’,
The God Who has me ‘ALONE to HIMSELF’
speaking Love & Kindness into my tomorrows!
Oh, CHURCH ~ how can we train our children
to SENSE this ‘high & holy’ privilege?
That we CAN & MUST spend time WITH HIM
ALONE ~ to ‘build’ that spiritual ‘bridge’!
Seek YOUR ‘private closet’ with GOD
alone in YOUR ‘secret place’, *
Far away from ‘man’ & ‘things’
so that CHRIST can help you WIN your race. *
Only in the ‘SOLITUDE’
will we ‘hear’ His Voice so sweet,
Some of our ‘BEST’ moments will be
‘sitting’ at His Feet. *
