"MY 'BROTHER'!"

He came to live among us *
JESUS CHRIST ~ The King,
Not in a Palace of riches
but a lowly 'manger' ~ was the scene. *
'Drawing' the poor & needy
our 'BROTHER' He became, *
A FRIEND to publicans & sinners *
who were never-more the same.
Not judging or rejecting those
who came to Him ~ like me,
And neither would He 'compromise'
for He never sinned, you see!
Full of 'Grace' & 'Truth' was He *
this 'Word' Who became ~ 'flesh',
Judging only those who wouldn't repent *
& their hearts ~with Him~ would not mesh. *
'Compassion' for the multitudes *
healing the lame & sick,
And giving to them 'freely'
those whose hearts were pricked. *
This 'BROTHER' brings such PEACE *
even before the 'storm',
Covering us with His 'LOVE'
keeping us 'peaceful' & warm!
'Adopted' by The Father *
wearing HIS Precious Name,
'TOTALLY' ~ FORGIVEN *
being 'special' just the same. *
He's prepared for us a Table *
because of His great Promise, *
'Inviting' ALL to be a part
so don't be a 'doubting Thomas'.
My 'BROTHER' continues to love me
when all others fail,
Never will He abandon us *
even if we land in jail! *
Like the potter with his clay *
God will 'mold' & 'change', *
But, we have to ASK Him
our 'attitudes' to rearrange!
Yearn to be in His Presence
wherever you happen to be,
Then plant seeds of 'Kindness' *
& 'Peace' & 'Loyalty'! *
I am always Thankful, 'BROTHER' *
longing to be like Thee, *
The 'One & Only' Precious JESUS
Who came to set me FREE! *
'Free' of sins dark hold on me
& all 'temptations' snares, *
Oh, my friend, don't you know
that my 'BROTHER' ~ CARES? *
So ~ don't 'give up' or 'quit'
& don't STOP 'loving' Him,
For NOTHING is too hard, you see *
& KNOW that you can win! *
Believe ~ with all your heart
Trust ~ & don't despair,
God will surely 'listen'
as you kneel down in Prayer. *
Yes, Christ chose to live among us
This Man of Galilee,
He chose to bleed & die
just for you & me!
The One 'I' have chosen
to be my 'Eternal' BROTHER!
