In Thy 'Mercy', Lord

~ please heal us ~

this I pray,

Yet not because

we try to be 'good'

each & every day.

For our 'goodness' *

~ is as filthy rags ~

in Your sight, oh God,

And ONLY through

~ Thy tender 'Mercy' ~

can heal us as we trod.

As we

~ leave ALL 'choices' ~

up to You,

You will

'show' us

what to do.

A way of 'escape' *

~ so we can 'bear' ~

the 'sufferings' that pass our way,

So we can have

~ JOY & PEACE ~

even yet ~ TODAY!
