"HOME ALONE?"

{Poem Book 7}
When you're 'home alone'
when 'no-body' is looking,
Are you 'true' & 'honest'
even while you're cooking?
'Tis the 'secret' things
that 'no-one' knows about,
That Jesus looks upon *
when there's no fear & doubt.
Fear of 'getting caught'
& doubt you'll 'face the consequences',
Thinking no-one 'knows'
all about your circumstances.
"Well, I can be dishonest *
& 'cheat a little bit'!" *
Never realizing ~
you're digging a great big pit.
Rapidly falling ~
out of God's Will & Way,
Then, when He doesn't 'use' you
you have a fit & say:
"I'm just as good as 'so & so' *
so why doesn't God use me?"
But you didn't see 'ole so & so'
down on bended knee! *
Praying & seeking ~
'forgiveness' for their sin, *
Because they desire to serve Him
& be 'free' to really win!
Now the next time 'you're' alone
& begin to cheat a 'little',
Remember CHRIST is looking
for a CLEAN & 'USABLE' kettle! *
+
'Wherever' I am standing, Lord
I'm in Your Will that day,
So, keep me CLEAN & USABLE, Lord *
this I humbly PRAY. {Thanks, Pat}
