"ARE YOU 'SUFFERING'?"

{Poem Book 3}
Are you 'suffering' mighty Pilgrim?
Well, don't give up & quit!
Just continue to 'wait' on God
& at His Feet, just sit!
For one day your great sorrow
will 'suddenly' turn to JOY,
If you keep your eyes on JESUS
& 'STAY' in His employ!
Don't turn your back & go away
because 'your time' has not arrived,
KEEP pressing on & lean on Christ
& He'll help you to 'survive'!
When you think you can't endure
just lay down & 'rest',
REST in JESUS CHRIST ALONE
& lean FULL upon His Breast!
Then He'll pick you up & carry you
through that tunnel so dark,
You may not think it now
yet, then, you'll be 'happy as a Lark'.
Troubles & trials & deep dark storms
are NEVER a joy to go through,
But, if we stay joyous in our spirit *
God can help both me & you.
