"A TINY SEED!"

'Twas just a 'tiny seed'
God planted in my heart,
I buried it so deep
it didn't have a chance to start.
To start 'growing'
deep inside of me,
For my heart was so 'hard'
& full of 'evil', don't you see!
But then one day
it was 'watered' by great tears,
Tears of my 'repentance'
for all those 'wasted years'!
Wasted years of 'rejection'
'turning away' from God's Word,
Not wanting to 'obey' it
nor 'love' what I had heard.
'Compromising' with the world
I let 'sin' reign within,
Then I had to make a CHOICE
would I let The Savior in?
Would I let Him 'clean me up' *
from the 'inside' out?
I'm so glad I made that choice
for now I can really shout!
Shout with 'Praises'
& songs full of joy & glee, *
Instead of songs of sorrow
& terror filling me!
Shear 'delight' comes over me
as now I read His Word,
'Meditating' on its promises
storing in my heart 'The Sword'!
For His Word is a Sword *
cutting away my 'dross',
Helping me to obey it
& ridding ~ all in my life ~ that's 'gross'!
Thank You Sweet Jesus
for being so 'patient' with me,
Now please fill me with Yourself
that others ~ 'JESUS' ~ will see!
See what He can do
with such a 'sinner' as me,
And that He's just 'waiting' to help
& Loves ALL ~ especially 'thee'!
