{Poem Book 7}
God would have us travel
'against the tide' of life,
Which means an 'effort' always
not 'giving in' to strife.
For if we 'give in' ~
& 'drift' along the way,
We'll sink down under the current
& 'all' will be swept away!
'Drowning' in our sorrow
with 'no Hope' left in sight,
So 'that' is why we must always
stand 'against' ~ & FIGHT.
Yet, remember ~ CHRIST is with us
leading us up that road,
Giving us 'widsom & knowledge'
saving us from a 'heavy' load.
Insurmountable difficulties
coming straight at us,
Are 'overcome' with Jesus' help
with 'Peace' & 'Rest' ~ and no more fuss!
'Strength' & 'Joy' will follow
as we DO His Will today,
Finding 'sweet success' in our tomorrow
Trusting our Savior ~ all the way!
